Coating quality and safety begin with raw materials and suppliers. Alongside purchasing terms, we examine human rights, environmental and ethical risks and progressively obtain the information needed for verification.
OUR PRINCIPLES
Communicate human rights, labor, health and safety, environmental, ethical and information security standards appropriate to each transaction. Supplier workers can also raise grievances through our communication channel.
Verify products, composition, suppliers, manufacturing facilities, origins and supporting information. Distinguish supplier addresses from actual production locations and follow up on information gaps.
Verify mineral content and supply routes for the materials actually used. Request information appropriate to the assessment scope; unknown status must not be presented as absence of minerals or completed certification.
Prioritize reviews according to materials, locations, transaction scale and severity of potential harm. Where issues arise, assign responsibilities, deadlines and corrective actions, and check their effectiveness.
Verify actual processes and substance handling at contract manufacturing sites, together with water use, releases and waste treatment routes. Review relevant information when materials or production locations change, and report significant risks and unresolved matters to management.
