OUR PRINCIPLES

Standards that build trust in our dealings and information

Preventing corruption and improper solicitation

We prohibit offering or accepting money, hospitality or favors to obtain improper benefits. The same rule applies to indirect provision through agents or third parties.

Managing conflicts of interest

Personal interests that could affect company decisions must be disclosed in advance, and the person concerned must withdraw from the decision. Company assets and information must not be used for private purposes.

Fair competition and contracting

We prohibit collusion and unfair trading, and use reasonable criteria for selecting and contracting with suppliers. We respect other parties' technical information and intellectual property.

Evidence-based product information

Claims about coating performance, safety and environmental attributes must be supported by test conditions and objective evidence. We distinguish research results, estimates and field outcomes, and correct errors.

Protecting information and personal data

We protect formulations, processes, test data and customer and supplier information. Access is limited to business needs, and personal information is processed for its intended purpose.

Accurate records and tax compliance

We record transactions and expenses accurately and retain supporting evidence. We comply with tax laws and filing and payment deadlines, and review unclear matters before proceeding.

When a decision is difficult

Verify the purpose, counterparties, amounts and evidence, and disclose relevant interests. Record facts without concealment, understatement or exaggeration. Report suspected violations through our communication channel for investigation and improvement.
